European Digital Library Initiative - Copyright Subgroup interim report available

The Copyright Subgroup of the European Digital Library Initiative - a flagship project of the European Commission's overall strategy to boost the digital economy, the i2010 strategy - recently published an interim report covering in particular the three following issues: orphan works, out of print works and digital preservation. HATII Preservation Resources Officer(s)

The Humanities Advanced Technology and Information Institute (HATII) is recruiting Preservation Resources Officer(s) who will actively work towards designing, developing, implementing, and disseminating a range of preservation resources to the UK and international HE/FE, cultural heritage, and scientific communities. The HATII Preservation Resources Officer(s) will work towards ensuring that HATII preservation projects deliver world-class training and advice, support services, and resources in the area of digital curation and preservation.
